I want to start messing around with making 3d objects but I need to know what is the easiest 3d maker to use. Scorpio can get new vehicles in to the game so why not add some new objects.

u could try Gmax, just like 3dsmax but geared towards games. never tried it myself but i have heard good things...i use Rhino 3d and lightwave but i don't do games that often

3D Studio MAx and Lightwave are very complicated programs, you will need to do plenty of reading and experimenting with the programs. This takes time, like Panzer said, nothing is easy. These are professional programs for a reason, if you want easy, try MS Paint.
A really good program used for Computer assited drawing is Autodesk Inventor 4. I believe ou may use that program to make models and such. I am most likely getting that program. its fun and easy to use
For someone just getting into 3D design, I would reccomend MAYA or MAX.
I'm partial to MAX since it is the first program I got into, and has a ton of features and is very intuitive. MAYA to me seems clunky, but people swear its a perfect fit for a beginner.
If you get MAX the "easy" way then you're going to need some tutorials to help you get through the basics. If yo are JUST looking for 3d Object design, pick up any book by Duane Loose to take you through designing a scene in MAX. He uses all primitive shapes to achieve his results. It's an easy and fun way to learn about the MAX interface.
Sadly, I've found NO tutorial that makes learning SPLINE and NURB modeling easy. Both are QUITE time consumning and probably not even what you want. So go with those suggestions first.
