I just got contact's yesterday and they suck ass. I had to get hard lenses because of my prescription.
I also have to wear soft lenses underneath the hard lenses in order to make it more comfortable or else the hard lenses wouldn't be bearable. Anyone here have any advice on how to make them more comfortable as I am hating it right now and hoping that maybe in like a week they will feel a lot better, just gonna give it some time.
I've worn soft lenses for probably 8 or 10 years. take a while to get used to, but i like them now.
never had to use hard lenses. my aunt has them and she just grew accustomed to them as she can now get soft lenses but she doesn't want to.
i've never heard of anyone wearing soft and hard lenses at the same time. i would think that would feel way too weird. i doubt i could do that and i've been wearing them for a long time.
It actually feels better then having just the hard lense, the hard lense was unbearable and the soft lense actually makes it better, acts like a cusion.

I have astigmatism... so contacts are out of the question: sure, they exist but the moment they rotate a bit, your vision goes blurry again. Good times!

They have contacts that deal with astigmatisms too. I saw them on the shelf at the eyeglass place I go to.
i think i'm -3.75 in both eyes and i have an astigmatism as well, but i still can wear contacts, it's just the contacts can't correct them. not the ones i have anyway. my astigmatism is very minimal though.
