When you buy a 360 you get a month trial of live gold, thats for playing online etc, after that month you;re on silver which means you cna dload demos movies updates but not play online. Gold for a year is $50 i think, saying that though you can get it on ebay for cheaper, its £50 in the uk and i got mine for half that on ebay.
