went there this weekend for my birthday and had a blast. Its a small Bavarian German style town. about 20 min north of STACKEM
Pics
These pics are from Inside and outside of Bronners an all year round christmas store. Place is huge and pretty awesome inside. Then at night the whole place is lit up with huge displays. Pretty amazing

This is the Silent Night memorial chapel @ bronners, it plays silent night in several different renditions and has the Lyrics in every language in the world wrapped around it.

This is Frankenmuth @ night, the entire town is lit up and is just amazing, it was very quiet, serene, not a lot of people and just very enjoyable. The one part of town looks like a MOHAA level (remagen)

I love places like that, i particularly like the real places, as in actual barvarian villages. Not many places like that around the northeast, the closest thing we have to Bavarian is the Yankee Candle Company in West Deerfield, Massachusetts, though its not a village the inside is meant to resemble one and it is very nice. It also brags to have the worlds largest car museum...right after Jay Leno's

I live 20 minutes northwest of there. They have a huge Bavarian Festival every august which we used to go to regularly and get lit. Cool place to visit but yeah, it is full of tourists.
I was there a couple of weeks ago with my chick and had dinner/drinks at the brewery.
It's hard to purchase a house there too unless you have german ties. I shit you not.
