PS2 Online -

Ok ok. I dont know how many of you have it or have interest in it but I am looking for help lol. I finally recieved the network adaptor after a month and a half of waiting. When it runs the test it says its not connected. I have cable so I take the line from the modem and plug it into my adaptor right. I already called my ISP provider and a computer technician. Last I will call Sony but I'm looking for help here if anyone knows what their doing.

I connect it to my Router and then connect to my PS2 and it did the whole (press x) process thing fine
so, I am sure you have to ahve a router to be able to hook up your PS2 so you can use cable internet and use the PS2.

Yes thats what I did, then it said test failed and that pissed me off. So I'm retunring until my cable company supports it. (aka - sets up extra charges to play it)

I think this is a common problem with it, check out the playstation 2 forums. I have read something about it there but can't remember what it said. Because mine worked fine. Good luck hope you get it figured out.

ya, it would probably be better to learn what to do with other people who had the same problem
pretty hard to get help from two people whose worked for them right away.

I might get it sometime...I have rented SOCOM and that's pretty fun playing offline, but the AI does some odd things.....
