YA I PRETTY SURE THAT PRIEST GUY IS RIGHT
CAMPERS ARE SO FRUSTERATING IN OBJ.
LIKE THE THE HUNT WHERE THEY SIT IN ONE OF THE BLOWN UP BUILDINGS AND AXIS IS LOOKIN FOR THEM AND FF ISNT ON SO U CANT KILL THEM NEXT ROUND FOR MAKIN U WAIT 5 MINUTES
IT MAY BE A TATIC OR WHATEVER U WANT TO CALL IT BUT ITS A GAME, NOT A REAL WAR

Learn some patience. In OBJ if someone is camping in a building then they are being smart - don't just go run into an ambush, especially when you'll have to wait 5 minutes to play again. Ever think about why you're waiting and they're not?
However, if someone is at spawn waiting for every to kill eachother, that's a different story. It's cowardly and unnecessary delay of game. Or, if someone camps somewhere no one will ever suspect and they just sit there until the last minute - again, unnecessary delay of game.
If you don't like waiting for the next round, then don't get killed so quickly. If you're not sure how to avoid being killed, then use some patience and watch those campers you're so quick to judge. Yes, MOH is just a game, but so is chess and poker - both are games that require strategy. Some times this may mean taking a little longer to get the objective.
Nuff said.

Thanks for that Priest - a very geeky attitude.
You may not care but EA Games does. They want to widest possible audience....those are the laws of commerce...
(Also, can I just add a 'get lost wanker' - I feel better now.

biggrin: Geeky, that's a new. Wanker I've been called before. Henry, if calling me names makes you feel better, have at it friend and be glad it comes so cheap. You seemed to miss the part of my post that said that what you think means little or nothing to me. I just gave my opinion just like anyone else. Agree or disagree, means nothing to anyone but you, just like my opinion is generally important to no one but me. happy:
Play or don't play, lean or don't lean, camp or don't camp. I'll find somewhere else to play if I don't like the scene. It just isn't that big a deal.
As for EA Games catering to the masses... we'll just see whether there's leaning in the expansion, or maybe a new anti-camping mod for you. But with it or without, people will play, whether whining about it or not.

The worst camper is the kind that camp in front of the door with a bazooka on an objective map, you open the door and BOOM you're both dead, that's a pretty stupid strategy.
The second most annoying campers are axis on Omaha with realism, because they bunch up until there are 20 STG whores sitting at the top of the staris in the tunnel where the left and right tunnel meet.

Hello Priest,
Name calling does make me feel better thanks. Doesn't surprise me about you being called a "wanker" before - don't mean to add to your trouble..sorry.
I kind of agree though that campers is part of the game - it is a thin line between campers, tactics etc etc. To be honest, a lot of times people are just in the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time!

Henry, are you trying to start trouble? I mean? If you've stated your opinion, and so has everyone else, and priest states his, which is mostly the same as the rest of ours, why give him a hard time? If calling people names makes you feel better, I have one thing to say, GROW UP.

Thats okay Henry, I find your nonsense amusing. You get all in a huff about what you claim to be an important subject; to the point of name calling, and then here you are completely backing down from your position.
Engaging in any sort of pissing match with you would be a waste of energy, as you've already shown your caliber and it speaks volumes about you.
But then again, I'm guilty for just writing this. What do they say? "Arguing on the internet is like competing in the Special Olympics....."

The only campers I have a problem with are the ones who sit at respawn points and kill you before you can even move. M16:
Yes I know you will respawn somewhere else and know where they are, but it still bugs me.

the spawns are messed up on some maps.
If there is a guy camping at the spawn, the other team shouldn't spawn there.
On Stalingrad I was guarding our sniper on top of the stairwell of the big building, where the sniper had a nice hole-in-the-wall to shoot through.
Anyway, I'm sitting there covering his back and a kraut spawns on top of us!
Of course I have no choice but to shoot him.
However this hasn't happened for a while now so has somebody fixed this issue or what?

It's like Omaha, there are spawn points that are right in the middle of everything. You as an ally have busted your hump up the corridors to get to the top, you clear that pesky sniper out of one of the bunkers to give your mates a chance to breathe, and he spawns in behind you to blow you back down to the beach. Pretty frustrating.
Then there is the inevitable spawn killing at the shingle. As axis, if you've pushed them off the shingle, this can't be helped. But one thing I can't stand is having someone as axis crouched down and hidden to one side of or inside the Higgins boat who blows you away before your feet touch the ground.
hey prhm, where in Wa are you at? Greetings from Puyallup!

There is nothing wrong with camping if your on the defending side.
But........onto n00bs now, why do n00bs after a lucky kill just stand and stare at a medi-pack thats only about 5ft infront of them? how stupid if your low on health why don't the dumb n00b just pick it up, instead of staring at it.
