[quote="Unknown_Sniper":3585b]Was wondering if anyone(mostly you filthy brits on here) have any ideas of things to do besides go to London and get tanked.
[/quote:3585b]
I thought going to London, living there for a month+, and getting tanked all the time was a brilliant idea.

Well, I'm back.
The things I have learned about the UK are
1. You have too many sheep
2. Your cows are fucking weird and big dumb gays
3. The Beer is awesome but expensive at $6+ a pint
4. The Peak and Lake districts are awesome.
As soon as I can get to an internet connection that doesn't shit out every 4 seconds Ill post some pictures.

You can't think of things in dollars over there man, thats the FIRST thing I did when I got there. I told myself I was in the UK now, its pounds. If I thought in dollars, I wouldn't have had nearly as much fun as I did.

Yar I agree... the £$ is messed up, my parents are going to New England for a vacation & leaving me at home but they have to change everything to $. I'm considering getting a mortgage on a house but the prices are a bit mad around here. A studio flat I was looking at is £94,000. That's about $200,000. So I went on ebay & looked around, I could buy a nice house in Arizona for that. cuss:
BTW 3 quid is pretty steep for a pint, that's the prices in London. Up North it should certainly be cheaper. Try looking out for a weatherspoons pub where the prices are around £2.30 or so. I've been to the Lake District before & yar it is full of sheep, nice countryside though... If you're interested in history I still recommend York, NE of Derby, may take a while to get there but probably worth the trip.

yeah I was in London for the 3 pound pints. a round of 4 pints at one pub ran me about 15 pounds. Oh well, was a blast.
I went to Twickenham, the home of the English Rugby team and got a tour of the stadium inside and out including the royal box and the RFU Presidents lounge

Took a boat from London to Greenwich, ate at some nice restruants, and had a blast.
BTW whats with your oil?
