Default Controlling crosshair with gamepad - 10-08-2002, 09:24 AM

Ok, I got the info from the faq on how to set this up in console. It worked fine, except when I'm mapping the buttons, I can't figure out how to move the crosshairs without using the mouse. The d pad moves my player forward, back, and side to side. The crosshairs move with his movements. Is there any way to control the crosshair without using the mouse. I never played the playstation version, but it must be set up properly in the console for that version somehow.

In the PS version, 1 analog stick made the player walk, the other "look". The look feature is what you are looking for. Unfortuneatly, I am at work and cannot see the console command. Maybe you can figure it out.

Just type cmdlist in the console, and use pageup/down to scroll through it. Get to the part where all the bind keys are, and look for one that seems to be the right command. Just test and see what they do.
