like if someone , the host, tries to boot me, is there a way i can make sure i never get boot?
(i can see the mods sneering at me now...)

i just came off a server that whined at my use of the bazooka, and they tried booting me but couldn't. lol, it was great biggrin:

I hope you know they can ban your IP address so that you will never be able to enter the server again.

i have mate its old now, but........it has brought some good laughs, using it on a server to TK everyone was funny i was on the floor laughing.
maybe wasn't funny for them though. pissed them off, lol.

well firstly you should be able to change your name about 50 times before any given vote is passed.
secondly goto...
Start menu > Run > type charmap [enter]

There IS some kind of antikick hack out there. I had a guy in my server a few months ago that I warned and then tried to kick. I used Autokick to send the clientkick command and it even showed "console: Player X was Kicked, blah blah", yet he never left the game. I then tried the Kick command and even didi it a few times and then he laughed and said he had an antikick cheat. So I left and restarted the server and banned his IP to get him out. I posted questions here about it, PMd BallBuster and CrowKing and no one has ever answered this. I even looked on a cheat site to see if they mentioned anything but never found any info on it. That was the ONLY time Ive ever seen it.
