Ahh fook it, I lasted maybe 2 days before I heard AA.com callin' me back

Fucking scary stories so far guys, keep it up...

So anyways, my ghost story revolves around the penal colony and Military Compound of Port Arthur in Tasmania which was in service in the mid 1800's, It is a shit scary place, and most every night they run a "ghost walk" because this place is full of wierd stories about ghosts and the like. So, We decided to go on one of these ghost walks, and it was a, excuse the cliche, dark and stormy night. It wasn't exactly pissing down rain, but wet enough to make the entire experience that much more terrifying. This whole story took place, what should be about 5 years ago now...

We were trudging on, my family and I, in a group of near say, 20-25 people. And my sister was given the job of carrying one of the 4 lanterns. So far on the tour we had sat on a table where people had been disected (We were sitting on it before we knew this, and jumped off straight away, luckily we weren't the only people made to look like knobs, as a few other pissy little kids had done the same). We moved on, the stories becoming increasingly terrifying as they went on... So we come across a quaint little house, eerily quaint

We were told that as this was once a Military Compound where soldiers lived, ate, and carried out their daily routine, knowing this we were horrified to learn that one of the former Soldiers who lived in this house had been murdered and his body had been thrown in the sea ed: As you should all know, soldiers back then wore uniforms much like this:

At that moment the rain stopped, and my dad, sister and I saw a red flash in the window (strikingly similar to the uniforms soldiers back then wore) and then, for no apparent reason, in almost pitch black, my dad bent down on the ground and picked up a small stone. We still have it today, the reason being , is that it is a small perfectly smooth faded piece of RED granite, with a white cross IDENTICAL to that of the uniforms they wore, I mean, it's exactly the same. Something ironic, is that when you dip it in water it becomes blood red, much like it would have when he had been killed... ed:

I'll borrow the schools camera and post a pic on Monday if anyone would like to see...

I'm sure this has no connection, but about 2 weeks after we left Tasmania, a nutcase by the name of Martin Bryant took hostages at Port Arthur and killed some 20 odd people, about the same amount that was in the tour group that night...
