Well, here is how I see it...
Gas prices are really high here on the Central Coast (California). Getting the Evo would save money more money than the Silverado would. If I got the Evo, I would have the nicest car at school (We all want that, don't we?). The problem with the Evo is its size. I am 6'3" with medium build, and I even have a little trouble getting into an S-10. So, really, I am told I should get a truck because of my size. Hmmm... I am just going on and on with a lot of bs. I'll get to the point as close as possible.
Car = Small, expensive, Money-saver, more passenger room
Truck = Big.

I hate vehicles.

get an older car, a restored one (or do it yourself.. .but it looks like you got enough $$$ for a restored)

classic cars > new cars

why are those the only 2 cars you are thinking about. you need to ask yourself what type of car you want, as short hand said.

for trucks look at a chevy silvarado or dodge dakota (much cheaper truck at least in my area)

if you want a fast car and are willing to pay that kind of money for a mitsubishi why dont you just look at a wrx or even think big up to a bmw 3 series.

fuck that. a stock civic puts out what 109hp on a 4banger. Ill take that STOCK 3000gt over a fucking civic anyday. Then mod it up and you got a serious car.

why did i say that ?

1. insurance.
2. Gas
3. Knowing stupid kids in a 3000 GT = expensive noise waiting to happen.

+ a imported R rated civic from Japan = 2100 pounds and comes in at 165 hp stock, now I have seen these things modded N/A (naturaly aspirated)/mind my spelling\ -might i add to 300hp, thats no turbo/Supercharger. With a spoon drive shaft you have a car that red lines at 14 000 rpm. Im not saying civics are the best but they do kick ass if properly built. I only recommend a civic because it is a great first car, as Jetta is, a sentra, cavalier etc. a 3000 GT is not a good first car, neither is a evo or silverado.. I have seen to many kids anyways kill themselves in first time cars they in which they have no experience in controlling.
