Thats the whole point of the game, win to get cash to get better weapons. Being decent with the "not-so-good" weapons helps a lot, or just going some rounds buying nothing to get an m4 or an ak is the way to go. 16k at the start of every round is stupid and just removes the whole point of the game.

16k each round, thats letting everyone run about with the noob cannon auto sniper, and when people figure out using that fucking thing to get kills is about as hard as mugging an oap in a wheelchair then every round would be dominated by autonoobs.

I still say it ends up in stacked teams. The team with better players start winning, then eventually get the cash advantage. Then what? You have a team that's filled with so-so players that can't afford any sort of weapon vs. a team of good players that can buy whatever the fuck they want. I don't know about you but my pistol vs. an autosniper every round isn't too enjoyable. Ask strvs, everytime we play it seems to happen.

Besides, if you say the whole point is to win cash, after a few rounds the 16,000 will be used. It doesn't last forever. Once it's gone you'll have to resort to really playing your game to win cash.

I still say it keep it at $16,000. If kids are going to use the noob cannons (which i expect you will gerv hah) then let them, they will be shamed for their choice of weapon. At least you start with a balanced game, kill the stacked teams factor from starting too early, and you will still have to work for cash after a few rounds on the loosing team.

People just dunno how the games played, if one team gets the upperhand then the team getting the shitkicking should save their cash and eat a few rounds so they can get better weapons. Stacked teams shouldn't really be an issue, its not like a pub where everyone joins the winning team, on a pub you more than likely don't know anyone, with people from this site the teams can be sorted out to be more fair.

As far as im aware some servers have it set so 16k keeps replenishing at the start of every round, if thats the case then what? Autpsnipe sleeping: heaven.

As far as my weapons choices go, i use three, m4\awm\desert eagle. Ak can suck the back of them because it sucks in source, awm may be classed as "cheap" but at most it can kill 2 players at once and they have to be in a direct line and most likely already damaged. Ive seen people with autosnipers take out groups of 4-5 people at once by just randomly spraying an area.

Maybe for people starting off 16k is a good idea but after a while when the pro mod is released then it should be backed down to 800 when everyone has a clue wtf theyre doing. By then hopefully source will play more like 1.6 and not be a sprayathon.

agreed, or maybe we should install a mod that disables autosnipe. $800 or $1600 is good for the first round, but anything over that is just gay. Oh and plz take off FF thats really annoying in cs_office.

Okay, I need you guys to do a few things for me:

First, make up your mind. I don't play CS, I wouldn't know what the starting cash should be. FF seems to be a good idea but if the majority of you want it disabled I can do that.

Second, elect among yourself, in the most civil way possible, two server mods. Rcon's been setup, I just need to PM you the password and or list or commands if you don't know already.

Third, if you have a mod suggestion, discuss among yourself then one of you (should be the server mod) PM me and let me know. I've been reading up on administrating CS:S servers lately and I'm confident that I can install mods w/o much prob.
