i just watched something on history last night about it ... probably one of the first things ive really watched close enough to see what went on ... i spose i can feel a bit sorry for the people of nyc, based only on what it looked like they went thru that day ... but the media shoved so much of it down my throat that i really cant be fucked with remembering it EVERY SINGLE fukin day thru the month of sept.

Every day of posting here I more and more get the idea from the yanks on this board that if you're not with them as Americans, then you're with the terrorists.....Or you're a moron.

Doesn't bother me too much. Noone gives a shit about anyone unless they're Americans. You can tell because if you say something kinda "mean" about hundreds/thousands of people that die in another country only Canadians or others respond to it negatively.....If it's about something American or Americans then the thread is instantly ruined.

Like I said though, I don't give a shit - Just making an observation.

no, it's how pryo says everything. He makes the Americans seem like they're below something else. If he would stick to what he preaches (everyone being equal), then everything would be fine. I hardly think that saying, "Get over it already" is anything but idiotic.

meh, its time to move on. cant really ask for sympathy after all the fucked up shit this country has done since 9/11...no matter how much aid we give out. worse things have happened before to other countries, i dont see the need to join the list of nations who make annual speeches and rhetoric about good and evil, it just takes away the value and memory of those who died imo.

I did notice this year that not much media stuff was covered. At our campus, there was only 1 event (moment of silence by the 'spiritual center') and that was it. THere was complaints in the newspaper today about people thinking not enough was scheduled.

I guess the whole New Orleans thing reall bumped attention.
