I was forced to go to bible class when I was young. I had to be an alter boy. I had to go to church every sunday. At the same time, I was taught the theory of evolution in school. Now that I'm married with kids, I don't have much to do with religion. It will be my kids choice if they want it. The thing that bothers me is, where was god when the world trade centers went down? Many of those people practiced religion. When they died, many, many live's were affected and ruined. The people that survived that event probably thanked god. How about the people that didn't? My point is that, this was an awfull lot of people that were killed in a horrible way by some horrible fucked up people, who in thier own sick, twisted way, practiced their religious beleifs. Ive seen too many sick and fucked up things happen to good people to beleive there is a god, but at the same time, I too thank god when myself or people I care for get out of trouble, whatever that may be. Go figure, still don't know which way to go. oOo:

Well, without resorting to what most people here have done and say a load of theories and what they think exsists and doesnt etc etc
Noone has any right to state wether god exsists or god doesnt exsist, and that wasnt even the question, The question was simple enough, it didnt ask for explanations.
My answer is; No.

Very well, Capt. Bunny: The short answer is NO.

Life is an experience in which you have freedom of choice to do what it is
you please: if a supraintelligent force did create this Universe, I doubt it
would regulate it like police officers do. Instead, it would design a system
in which through a process of reincarnation and spiritual evolution, only the
most intelligent beings would reach it. In the end, I would assume that all
reach the source, but how long would it take even the lowest of us ? ;-)
Again, it all comes down to freedom of choice. freak:

Ok, I have much knowledge of the Bible and here is my opinion on what most of you have said:
First off, when God created this earth, and the beings that currently control it, he gave the right to do what you want and think, act as you wish. THEREFORE I can go up to someone and blow thier fucking head off if I wish, but what will be the result of that?? Since it says in the 10 Commandments NOT to kill a man, I would therefore go to hell for my acts. God ISN'T supposed to make everything "perfect". God gave you the FREEDOM to do whatever the fuck you want, which sounds good to me. But taking a life, and other shit is not what I would do.
Now, I'm not saying this is the truth, but this is what I believe and what many others do as well.

No offense to you guys but it really doesnt matter if there is a god or isnt. God isnt just something that controlls the world around us. it was a hope to people in need. How many times have you ever hoped to god or prayed its just the notion that there is a greater power out there that watches over us. Religion has drived some to persevere and some to kill, that is more important than god existing

Im basing that statement on the fact that the decleration of independence, the document for which your country foundered itself, is just a foolish contradictory document.
"All men are created equal."
HAH! Yeah, so the 400,000 slaves in the country at that time WEREN'T men?
Sure, my country has made mistakes, like any country...But we don't celebrate them.
