I agree to a point, most Hollywood movies are shown around the world. But there are still a lot of other movies & such like Bollywood, Pinewood Studios &tc not to mention all the great films from Germany, Das Boot, Stalingrad et al. But you are talking about attitudes & styles. How many rag heads have you seen in the middle east wearing nike trainers & baseball caps? There are many other sports brands & designers out there such as Addidas & Ben Sherman. How many Italians do you know who are affected by American fashion? Who drove their tanks into Siagon in 1975 whilst the US embassy was evacuated? You lost the war when you could have won it using hearts & minds. But you sent in a bunch of troops with no idea how to go about fighting a modern jungle war. You are speaking English because it was the Brits who first owned your country, then we went on to take Canada & discover Australia. We also had South America & half the damn world.
