Ok, my thoughts on the demo (only played a short part cause I had to go):

Negative:

- Loading takes forever (P4, 2.0gig - 768mb ddr - 9800 pro 128mbs).
- AI sucks bigtime! I was shooting with MG, things started to blur on my screen, looked behind, a Jap was piercing my back with his nife while an allie was sitting right behind him enjoying the beautiful forrest I guess, omg.
- AI keeps running through your line of fire.
- Weapon-sounds as usual suck arse.
- No keyboard config options + qwerty keyboard (I always play with arrows so this sucks bigtime) -> still have to use alt+shift to change my keyboard to qwerty which means this will be fun for chatting in MP again.

Positive:

- Engine looks quite nice
- Plays good
- All detail on MAX and still ran nice, lagged a bit whit lots of action.

So lots of work to do before november wallbash:

I agree with you there. Nothing spectacular or really any reason to buy. The AI does blow, the sounds suck and the loading times are pathetic, at a few points I thought the damn thing crashed because it took so long. Really glitchy as well, I didnt expect much from EA anyways.

after playing the demo a few times more. I immediatly regret my decision of making it a 10/10

the AI isnt really good

the control are a little chuggy

I really dont have a problem with the sounds

so to rethink my over all score for the demo, Ill give this a 7.5/10 just becuase I thought the graphics were pretty dman good and didnt frame lag my ass to hell

wonder what MP would be like.

I think its pretty good so far, played through it a few times, some weird stuff like when you use an mg your vision starts to blur after a few rounds, maybe its meant to be a heat haze coming off the gun or the vibration of it shaking you. Graphically its nice, obviously not doom 3 standard but its a hell of an improvement over allied assault. Seems to retain the same feel as allied assault, i just put my mouse upto full speed and it didn't feel sluggish at all. Ai has suprised me a few times, i was in a hut firing out and one of the litttle bastards ran in the side door and started bayonetting me. cuss:

The grenades seem a bit weird though, you're meant to be able to "cook them off" like in rtcw, ive held it for 3 seconds primed and thrown it and it still seemed to sit on the ground for a while before detonating. The actual visual effect of the nade exploding i think was much better in allied assault, in this its pretty hard to tell if your grenade has actually exploded.

Already encountered one bug, i was in "death state" with the japanese rifle, i get revived and i get up running about with an invisible rifle in my hand, it fixed itself once i switched to the tommygun and back though.

Also a few scripted sequences like the corsair ploughing into the ground when you;re heading for the mg or the zero crashing into the guard tower, would be nice if they added some kind of variable so these happened once in a while and not every time.
