Too bad are leagues are so different...we're a passing league while NFL is a running league.

they played exhibition games in the 50's and 60's when both leagues payroll's were determined by ticket sales, allowing the cfl to get the same caliber player as the nfl. These days the talent in the NFL is heads above the CFL. But like you said its a different field. 12 Players + longer/wider field = more passing
