It begins....Stag lower with Vltor Modstock. And I plan on getting a Magpul MIAD to replace the regular AR15 pistol grip.

thats interesting, the guys who own them probably don't have a clue how to operate them. Its amazing people have so many troubles with AR's but i have been dealing with them for 5 years now and i have had maybe a total of 5 jams, and most of them were due to bad magazines.

I cannot wait to begin building mine. I'm thinking the Noveske or maybe build a midlength

Midlength AR:

Arkan if you need a pistol grip for your AR (i dont like the regular M16 grip, the nub on the front annoys me. Check out the Magpul MIAD. I just got it, it has diffrent front and back straps. Like look at the first picture, i have the small backstrap on

Now here is the medium backstrap on.

Than there is one more, a bit larger, but it is too big for my hands, i find the middle one the most comfortable, but for people with big hands i hear the large strap is awesome.

You should definitely check it out, the inside core plug holds 3 rounds for emergency's, it is extremely well made, and the grip is very textured, it feels like its glued to your hand. Its good shit.

Milla, deleted your post because it carried over bud.

Anyway, no love for the AK? I have more fun with that rifle than anything else in the safe now.

Eh, AK's are fun, but i'm defiantly not an AK fan.

I wouldn't mind an FN FAL

Bought this today. Got a great price, at $1034 after tax i couldnt resist. A spectacular meat and potatos ar15. Try to get to the range next weekend.

On a side note, any idea where i can buy bulk ammo for the thing online, Nanchez is pretty stripped of everything. Also, was looking at some TAP ammo, or some Remington high fragment low penetration stuff. Any recomendations.

cheaperthandirt.com? I know they have some surplus stuff. also check out ar15.com forums a lot of guys know where to get bulk ammo.

Thats a good deal, S&W MP15's are nice man. I think my final build will be a Stag lower (which i got) and a Noveske upper.

Yeah i did cheaper than dirt and Cabellas, 223 is just slim pickins everywhere. Though Cabellas did have bulk tracer rounds available, which was pretty tempting. hell they even had .22 tracers. Did a quick glance at ar15.com guess i'll go a bit more in depth there.

Bought myself something new today.

Norinco M14s. Bang for buck on this rifle is about as good as you'll ever get. These rifles are basically made just as well, if not better than the Springfield Armory rifles and for a fraction of the cost.

I'd probably be looking at $2,000 for a SA M14/M305. Got this for $400 and it's brand new, never fired.

This is about one of the few times theres an advantage to being a Canadian gun owner. You yanks can't get this rifle because of trade embargo's with the Chinese. You have to settle for the ridiculously expensive SA.

Calling out Simo...

Found this beauty...

Finnish Sako M39 Mosin 1941 Straight Stock

Perfect wood, worn bluing and the bore is dark, but the rifling is still there. Guy says it shoots like a dream, just as good as his other finns.what do you think
