Not really.

I think we're just curious as to why no one seems to care about this...especially Americans. I mean, since it interests me and other Canadians, why wouldn't it interest Americans? For the most part its just me and mach and strvs, so i guess were the only really interested ones. Actually I think merlin posted in here as well, so he gets the title of FIRST AMERICAN TO POST IN THIS TOPIC, but i'll have to check on that.

It would probably interest Americans more, I would think, but maybe that assumption is wrong. I don't know.

Edit:
Sgt. Paine is the first non canadian to post in this thread! Congrats to him! I think he's american too, so we get two birds with one stone... American and non canadian! oOo:

So yeah...i should be an investigative reporter.

I've read threads I've been interested in and didn't post. It all depends on what that person's personality is, if they feel like reading, etc if they post or not...not what country they're from.

What type of answer are you looking for Ninty? We're being brainwashed or something? Come on, be real.

your average man on the street doesn't care very much about america's external policies. Most don't even watch the news. Most of the kids in my highschool either don't care or they follow the beliefs imposed on them by their parents that america is always doing the right thing.

Or they accept the fact that in their position they can't do anything about their Governments policies besides complain and other limited options that end up all the same; the policies still in place, or changed with more things to complain, etc about now.

but they can be changed. If people cooperate like they did in the 1960's they could bend the government to change these policies. But the times have changed and most people will think you're some crazy liberal who wants to destroy american values.

I agree.

All i'm saying is I scratch my head when the masturbation threads get 100 posts in 2 hours, while posts that are somewhat more important, or should be precieved as more important aren't very popular. I guess if I wanted responses on these types of issues i should visit some kind of political board or something instead of a gaming site populated by mostly kids under the age of 17.

I know. I'm not saying 16 or 15 or 13 year olds can't be interested, or be knowledgable in the subject. However, the majority of those of that are are not in this topic, nor are they anywhere in the history or political threads.

The majority of people are here to goof off in offtopic, no matter what the age.

I stay up at night thinking about what I could do to rally my fellow americans and topple the neo conservative policies that plague our nation today. But looking at places like my school and at my comrades in youth, it is seemingly impossible to start any kind of mass protest, or even a comparitvely simple petition. Unless someone thinks of something revolutionary then we're all screwed.

Every site has at least a few dummies,...some more than others. Americans aren't responsible for all of the bullshit on this site though, which I think you know anyways. Teenagers aren't either.

You can't expect everyone, especially the pool of unintelligent morons on the internet, to be interested in everything you think they should be or want them to be. And that fact applies in real life too.
