Default Drumroll please...(AA.com TeamSpeak2 info) - 10-06-2002, 12:50 PM

I have finally finished the offocial aa.com TS2 tutorials on my forum Rudedog so graciously provided me. Its step by step guides for setting up and using TS2 with MOH. Redsoccerdevil also has a tutorial for setting up 2 soundcards so one (preferably using a mic/headset combo) can be used just for TS2 audio. The advantages of this setup should be obvious.

This will be the definitive place for TS2 help whether or not you use it just for MOH:AA MP.

The forum is hosted on Rudedogs's AA.com Game Server site which you can find here:

My TeamSpeak2 forum can be found here:
[url:fdba8]http://mohaa.xgshosting.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4[/url:fdba8]

Check it out and dont forget to register. Rude's forums are also a backup to the AlliedAssualt.com forums in case they go down.

I will ask Rude to modify the sticky uptop to direct guys to the TS2 forum instead of posting here.

And just a FYI, in the couple of months my TS2 server has been up its slowly gained in popularity. There are several dozen registered users and on a good night the entire aa.com game server is filled with TS2 users.

Right now its geared more for MOH:AA players but its not limited to the aa.com server. If I get requests for other game server channels I will be happy to add them (ex. AAN and the =DOA= servers).

So, check it out, register, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help you use TS2

Thanks RD. Lately, with the TS2 server's popularity, it makes it all worth while.

And to connect the fastattack.org IP is no longer valid.

Use IP=216.40.244.222

FastAttack is a great guy offering great hosting services but his communications about the server swap were vague at best.

I had to figure out on my own that ANYTHING related to the old fastattack.org needed to be changed to that IP. TS2, FTP, email etc....

I need to talk to you about the sticky too RD. I want you to unsticky it so I can cut n paste it to the TeamSpeak forum ( the mic setup under windows thingy)
then you can edit the post as you see fit. just cut it down to a link to the TS2 forum maybe.

(edit)As I told Rude in an email, a friend at Planet Tribes threw my forum link up in a Planet Tribes news section...maybe RD or someone else can do the same thing here

Great job you two. The game is soooo much more enjoyable being able to chat together and coordinate team moves. It has helped me immensely. biggrin:

Thanks DAD.
It really does enhance gameplay

There are soo many ppl registered on the TeamSpeak server I would have to go into the database to list them all. I want to thank all of them for their paitience and support while we work out the few remaining bugs.

I also want to point out my appointed Server Admins (have SA after their names) have done a remarkable job of helping me run the server.

Case in point, the last time the server crashed I got my host on ICQ and was whining about the TeamSpeak Linux Server being buggy and me having to allways re-enter the channel info.

While that conversation was going on several SA's randomly joined, saw what had happened, and proceeded to recreate the channels.
THAT is why they have SA to begin with. Its not a status symbol. None of them asked for SA, they demonstrated a desire to help and were rewarded accordingly.

Kudos guys. I might have given up on this without your help!
