Camper -

ok here goes, what is your definition of a camper? Are you pro camper ( allow players to camp) or are you annoyed by this display?
Personally i believe if your gonna "camp" it should only be with a sniper rifle. Several reasons behind this, 1 in almost every MOH game players will be constantly moving especially those who dont camp. this makes it alot harder for the man with the scope .especially if lagg is involved as well.2. with a rifle reloading is slow as hell and just as annoying. (its usually not considered a good idea to stay in one place for too long even when your a camper. Basic, and logical, technique for a camper would consist of 1 finding a good spot 2 setting up 3 making your kill 4 always relocate after 1-3 kills because if they respawn, come hell or highwater they will be after you first. This is my thought of a camper. However campers who use any type of machine gun or panzers are just plain cheap...and there ass sooner or later will be screwed. lemme know what you think.or enlighten me.

LMAO Who cares if people camp. In real life do solders run down the middle of the street. No they would be pegged off quickly, so let campers camp. Sometimes its called a ambush.

I don't mind campers. Most of the time on the AA.com server, most people will hold a certain position in the map, and defend that particular region in order to win the game. To me some of the best and most enjoyable games I have played have been using this tactic. So yes I like campers, unless they are camping at a cheap spot, not necessarily spawn camping, but camping at a ladder where they can get cheap kills, etc...

First of all I would like to say that there is a difference between camping and defending a well travelled area by setting up a "kill zone".
the "kill zone" tactic is shown well in the end of SPR, where the Rangers/Paras expect the krauts to come down main street and therefore stack all their defenses to provide overlapping fire into that zone.
Another example is at the end of Dirty Dozen, the MG at the "donald duck" position is set up to turn the road into a kill zone.
Camping is more like when one who is not particularly skilled does something like hide behind a door in a low-moderate traffic area and shoots passerbys in the back.
Interestingly enough I was accused of camping on Crow King's Forlorn Hope in Destroyed Village when I was defending the house in the middle, the axis were trying to use the passage under the house to get to our spawn, so they could camp, how ironic that they called me a camper eek:

i only get pissed at campers when it's objective and they're supposed to be attacking but they decide to sit back at a door near the spawn. other than that they're kind of fun, when they do it correctly.

ok..............well thanks for that note ktog3..........however you dont need to own moh to talk about tacticle crap such as this. Even if youve played it only a bit. ......heck what am i saying...topics like camping can be found in almost any online 1st person shooter game anyways. so really you dont need to know anything about moh to discuss camping...although my MOH notebook isnt all blank...ill keep in the right forum rooms with the topics and nextime try to stick to the topic. oOo: M16: M16: M16: M16:

Well, camping is part of the game, I snipe 90% of the time but don't always camp. It depends on the map and your position in the map. I sometimes run-n-snipe (on the fly) and that pisses people off more than camping. People cry about camping & weapons (especially the shottie & rockets) but thats part of the game. You need to choose the best weapon for a particular map and you need to decide how to utilize them (run-n-gun, camp, stalk...etc) so when i see someone camp, i don't get mad unless they're sitting on a respawn point.....then it's cheating.
The world is my urinal
