Multiplayer?!

Ok, sorta new to this game, and i know how to do LAN networks, but how do I play over the internet or online? Do i have to pay? Please help.

you dont have to pay

just use gamespy, ase or the browser in your game to select a server and then join

Make sure you have the v1.11 patch installed beforehand. That gives you the in-game browser.

also with the patch you have more servers to choose from and don't have to put up with cheaters (for the most part)

Ok, could you give me a few more details on where to join a game? what do i have to download? what do i have to install? just a more in depth help could help me figure what i need to do.
