The tilde key seems to open a chat box...How does one get into the console? Sorry if I missed this answer elsewhere!

u got to go to options from the main screen, then to advanced, the check the consol box on the right side

What command do you type to change the max fps? It's capped at 100.

but guess where I found the answer?

my unnamedsoldier.cfg file. It stores all your veriables.

the command to unlock fps is

com_maxfps (use 250)
