Just wondering, I went and shot a shotgun last Saturday, and I missed those damn clay pidgeons everytime. Not to mention that my right shoulder is still a little sore... biggrin: Anyways, do rifles and other guns kick as much as shotguns?
don't know about full rifles.
assault rifles don't recoil too much
On "Basic Training" I've seen a drill sergeant fire an M-16 off his forehead, chin, and general-area-of-the-balls, to show recruits that it has little recoil.
biggest Ive shot is a .300 win Mag, it kicks like a mule! One of the secrets to control the kick is to loosly hold your forearm do not hold it tight or you will receive the full brunt of the critter you are shooting. Started shooting on a rifle team at 12 yrs old, I was a marksman at 12!!!!!!! Guess what......Ive had guns all my life and NO CRIMES were commited, go figure. I have a .44 Mag pistol that I hunt and target shoot with it has a big kick but its easy to control
mb PS others that kick hard
7mm Mag
10 Gauge shotgun

SW-14, my friend has a m1 from the korean war and its awesome, but kicks pretty good. Its quite loud too, but well worth it when you empty the clip and it pings- popping out.
