Just a quick comment -

I thought I'd put this in the air, because it's just getting dumb.
Alot of people here tend to think that my moderator status is out of hand. They feel that I should have not been made one, or that I should just lax up on locking the threads, or deleting posts. Mainly, Strik0r, Innoxx, and a few of the other guys. For those, sorry.
The reason I can't help out and be more lax is because I'm not the one deciding on what stays and what goes. All posts that I go though, I ask one of the other moderators or BadScript himself how it should be dealt with. I really don't want everyone to feel that I'm locking it just because I don't like it. Even being a moderator, I don't have the right to do this. These forums aren't mine as much as they aren't yours. They are BadScripts.
If you feel that I'm being to rash on a topic, or that a thread was locked/deleted for a reason you don't feel was justly, then either PM a moderator stating so, or PM BadScript with the problem. We, the moderators, are not here to tell everyone what to do, we are just here to instruct the "PG-13" rule going on, and want to keep the forums pleasant for anyone who visits, young or old. Hope you all can understand this.

My advice:
When you lock a thread, avoid making a statement about it....While it tells us what we've done wrong, it makes you seem as though you are some kind of overbearing parent figure, spanking us, and taking away our toys.
Spooge had always done it right....He just locks em' up, no statement.
....Take my opinion for what it's worth.

Nah, I'm not posting the reason to remind you and all, I know you all know the rules, I post it for the people who will PM me "Why the hell did you lock my thread for no reason!"

Yah, we don't know that....You word it as though we are all involved...It seems as though you are some kind of authority figure, that has come to ruin our fun.
If I were you, I'd make the point through PMs.

Joe, you're trying, what more can a person do? When dealing with children somtimes they have problems understanding what they did wrong, so the whine and complain. I'm glad I'm not a mod, I would be locking threads like mad, and editing posts that I personally find offensive. For the amount of bull crap a mod has to put up with on this site, it's a wonder any of you stick around. So, you do what you think is right, and hope that people can figure out that there are rules they should attemp to follow.
ENJOY

Lock whatever needs locked. If you want to explain because its vague, then explain. If its obvious to all why you've locked it, then don't.
If someone bitches at you and makes it harder to do what you need to do, or tries to intimidate you, give them a 1 week ban. That will shut them up.
Do whatever you think it takes to make the community better for all, not just an elite (so they think) few.

As a Mod I think your doing a good job. Keep it up. Dont get all personal though and feel you have to ask to lock a thread, you see a problem, fix it, you do actually have to tell people what to do sometimes otherwise they just keep on keeping on and never quit. You have an obligation to enforce the rules that have been set here, thats pretty much your guideline, you dont have to stick to it completely 100%, just use it as a guide and your pretty much right. BadScript has told me I sometimes get out of hand, that I do, it's only because I like this place, and dont want it to crumble into nothing because of upstarts who think it's cool to spam, create trouble just for the sake of it, or break the rules just because "rules were meant to be broken". Am I a bit of a hard ass, yeah, but someone has to be around here.
I've got some questions and queries for you guys which I will pass on to BS (who needs to get back to me about a few other topics)..
Should there be a censor on all swear words ?? Replacing it with a similar but more "friendly" word ?
Should this forum be viewable only to those who have registered ?
You obviously all want EDIT back....Ive asked BS about this, but havent gotten a response....as Joe said, it's BS's site, I cant touch much without his say so.
Lately there have been some trouble makers posting movies of various people getting their pictures pissed on....I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. What I'm asking is that all of you look out for this kind of crap or any other trouble makers and alert me, Joe, Rude or Spooge ASAP so we can deal with it. Dont escalate the problem by adding fuel to the flame, just let us deal with it quickly and sweep it aside.
Also to the other Mods, you dont just have PM or email BS, I basically have the same powers he does, and I'm obviously on here a bit more than him, dont hesitate to PM or email me, I'm not on here ALL the time, but I'm just a PM away and will always be alerted when I get one and will reply or act as soon as I can.

As for censoring "swear words", DONT. That would make for a lame forums board.
that's the reason i left my other one, they even censored 'hell'! what a
bunch of flaming homosexuals.
