Lcd vs. Crt Monitor for Mohaa -

I am new to the game and am looking at upgrading my crt monitor. I could go with a Dell 21 inch flat front Crt or a 19 inch Dell Ultrasharp Lcd. Which is better. Does anyone know. I have heard that Lcd provide better image quality if hooked up digital. I have also heard that Lcd are not good for gamimg becasue the response time isnt fast enough and images smear a bit.
