My idea for my computer case. -

Hey yall. im thinking about moding my computer case by puting a window in and some fans and lights. I want to know if this stuff is cool or not becasue im bored and cant get this of my mind.
I wouldnt worry about how cool it is. It sounds like fun. I have done a bit of case modding, but mine has been more heat and sound management. Next pc, I am going to buy a good case from the start instead of having to try to fix up a POS.
Why does anyone spend money on making their PC look good? Who's likely to see it? No one of the opposite sex will find you more attractive or cool because you have neon lights shining out of your PC case.
At least when you have a car that looks hot you can pick up shallow girls with it.
The only people you could possibly impress with a flashy looking PC, besides yourself, is boys on the internet. Is that worth spending money on?
It's like a recent Lynx deodorant advert here in the UK, with the slogan:
"Men's sweat only attracts other men - Is that all you want?"
Words of wisdom.
But hey, it's your dosh. Spend it how you like. Must be nice to be rich biggrin:
1. money should be going towards performance
2. im going to laugh when u get it all done. i gurantee it wont be like what u expected (anyone remember joes case?)

Ricing a pc case is for the most part retarded. You spend all this money making it look good and for what? Wow it has 6 blow holes, pity it sounds like a fucking boeing 747 taking off. Those neons look good if u want to make your case look like some sorta strip joint advertisement.
Spend your money on better components and forget "ricing" your case. oOo:

He already said it doesnt need any hardware uprgrades.
The reading comprehension is weak with this group.
He also said that he is interested in case mods and it sound like fun.
He gets (lightly) flamed for that because you guys all know what is best for him and what he likes to do for fun.
We arent talking big money here. $35 was the original cost. I have lost more in the laundry before. He is now talking about a new case that might cost $100. Big deal. I have dropped more on one night of drinking or at a restaurant. Both of those last less time than a case mod. $100 so he can spend a few hours making something that interests him isnt such a bad deal.
I spent a few dollars and about an hour tie wrapping my cables and putting sleaves on my power supply wires to clean u pthe inside of my case so my pc doesnt look like some 19 yr old twit just crammed all the pieces into a tin can. Does that mean I wasted an hour of my life? Even if it makes me feel better.
Give the guy a break. He isnt spending your money.
