Trouble Making a Compass -
10-16-2003, 04:10 PM
Hi,
I'm currently trying to make a compass. I'm using photoshop 5.0. The problem that i am having is that I cannot get the background of the compass to be transparent. If i create new with a transparent background i can only save the file in photoshop format. I need it to be a tga file. Can someone please help me?
Thanks,
Falc

just dl it off a filesharing program
**NOTE: i am not condoning pirating software off of kazaa
**NOTE: fuck the RIAA and anyone who is against file sharing
and doc, i dont have the time to argue with you, take that off of your profile unless its a % n thing or whatever, or i will tell ppl why you really left
im really not trying to be a dick, but i dont put up with lying or shifting of blame

save as a tga so there is no scripting if u r new to it (even tho its very easy to do) anyway. create a layer from background and color the first layer transparent... ive told almost everyone that...

you cant just change the type in the file itself
ex- compass.gif to compass.tga
