I have decided to wait to buy this game for a few months

I have decided this game is NOT worth $50, cause all I play is SP, and I have decided from what some of you have said it's not all that great. I'm waiting till it drops in price 20 bucks or so. I was gonna get it today, but changed my mind at the last minute last night after serious thought on the matter.

NOLF, dont trust opinions of others here man, especially the ones who come here just to bitch about how gay the game is. Buy it, and if you dont think its worth $50, return it for a refund and tell them the game dont work on your PC, get your money back. Since when was a $50 purchase such a huge ass thing? I buy weed for more than that and I dont even think twice.

Just buy the game, you know you want to, its great

Still haven't seen one bad review about the SP game. NOLF, the only "bad" thing about the game that most editors found was the mp mode. They're raving about the SP, which is what you said you would buy the game for. The SP, not MP.

yes, some editors complained about the ending, but they still rave about the game.

I've been playing the objective maps all afternoon. Well, two of them anyway. The Hunt is the same one from the demo and I'm bored sick of that. The Algiers one is totally shite. The bridge one is just a little rest between bouts of Omaha Beach, which is good. But it'll be played so much it'll get as tired as The Hunt in a couple of weeks. Oh, I think there is also a V2 rocket map, but it's all corridors, like a maze.

There aren't enough maps in this game by a long shot...not £35's worth.

If I find it for $40 I'll probably get it. I just hate games w/ no ending and A.I. that is too smart. (here I go trusting the word of these people)

My dad is paying for it, and I wouldn't mind him paying as much as he had to for the game, but I'm hoping to get an extra $10 bucks off the game so I can get some Burner Software.

So the SP is THAT good, huh?

I've been playing the full version for the last few hours and the SP is pretty much a standard blast-em-up. Realism factor is zero, loud noises from the surround and arcade fun-factor are 6/10.

It's just an average blaster. There is nothing special about it at all apart from the fact it doesn't crash. I've already completed the first level and I can see this is a two-day game. MP is it's only salvation in terms of longevity, but if the maps are as crap as people are saying they are...

I can say one good thing about this game...I learnt a lot about file-sharing, CUE and BIN files and Fireburner. Other than that I advise people who don't have the game yet to wait until it's in the bargain-baskets...it ain't worth full price.
