I live in Michigan I made around 15k like u said..but i rent..and I got a rent homestead credit back for an extra 650 bucks...avg months rent..

i made just under 7k this yr...i work parttime and im a full time student at Columbia. i got my w2 last week and i only paid 440 $ dollars in federal taxes!!!!1 wtf that cant be right....7 grand and they only took out 400? i was really pissed because now i might end up owing money instead of getting any back this yr. and yes, i did claim zero as a dependant. thats the wierdest part of it. im lookin through all of my check slips now before i file it . cry:

I should get at least $1000 back, dont know yet the wife does all that for me. But I did get a 8% bonus and 7% raise this year!!!!! I am getting a serious upgrade

I dont make enough for the Feds to even want any. Well, last year I didnt anyway. You have to make like 6k to even be taxed federally?

I'm still waiting for my w2 from work. I should get some nice cash back. I made close to 45k this yr and bought a house in Feb. I also claim 0, so I hope it's pretty nice......
