[public service announcemnt]Ya know, as I sat through MEPS [military employment something something], waiting to reno[gotiate] my contract for the Army... I saw the US Army Special Forces commercial like ten fucking times, I sat waiting to reno for about 9 hours, as well as commercials for the other branches... and I had to laugh. Everyone knows about the hell that is boot camp, the terror that is battle, and the training in between... but no one ever says shit about how much fucking paper work and sheer boredom is involved. Anyone thinking of joining a military branch in the US, though I can't imagine it's any different in any other country... I'll tell you what the commercials won't... bring a book.[/public service announcemnt]
