What can I say Women don't know how to drive...

------------------
True story:
First parking lot for women only:
With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots,
Minneapolis City Council has established a "Women Only" parking lot at
the Mall of America. Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively
female so that a comfortable and safe environment is created for patrons.

I get the game later today and as a Wargame fanatic have been really looking forward to it. I enjoyed the SP demo and have been following the game closely.

After reading some of the reviews http://www.gracelessland.com/CGI-BIN...?rev_mohaa.txt
and reading some of your comments I have a feeling this game will just be another pointless unrealistic shooter Respawning and heavy scripting can only result in poor replay value.

The game has been hyped to death on the theme of SPR, probably the most realistic war movie ever filmed, and to read comments about Nazi soldiers appearing out of nowhere (respawning) just totally kills the gameplay if you are a serious gamer. It sounds like it will appeal mainly to the quick fix shooter brigade (whatever that means) I doubt if the real Wargamers will enjoy it so much over here in Euro land.

Anyway I will happily come back here and eat my words if indeed MOH turns out to be the WWII game rush it should have been, I will be picking up my copy later today.

It's not as bad as some people said it was... I found it quite good actually. Graphics are spectacular - contrary to what most people say. That is, of course, with exception to the lame maked off "forest areas" where you only have one route to go like in the sp demo map. They could have been more creative in my view.

Don't worry that you'll waste 40 bucks. It's a good game.

Suffice it to say, the ending did suck donkey balls sort of...

You are sO wrong my friend..oh so wrong. The games positive aspects stand tall besides its bad aspects.i love it

By a sniper's discriminatory nature, he has felled the command structure of his enemies, rendered their equipment useless and driven fear into the hearts of their fighting men.
The sniper is one of the most effective weapons on the field of battle.
He is frugal, and precise. He is not a superman, capable of incredible feats, but he is skilled in ways that many misunderstand.
For enemy soldiers, Zaitsev represents their doom. Unseen, but certain. Just raise your head above the trench and meet your maker.

Honestly, you can find fault or praise for the game...just depends on what you are looking for. Understand this...on the Internet you can not get a historicly accurate game...sorry cant happen. Maybe if you joined a club that was religous about recreating accuracy like those Southern guys and their Civil War renactments.

But, keep an open mind, realize it is a game and have fun....and ignore the kiddies. Thank God it is not as bad as Cheater Strike.

hello..
you can't wait Mohaa as a wargame or a ww2 sim... as i said in my last post, i play on ww2 sims too but find mohaa very attractive. ok, it's higly scripted, but these scripts improve the action...
i agree with you one one point : the respawn. its boring and don't bring anything to the gameplay (except to artificially increase the difficulty).
well, i said Mohaa is CLOSE to reality, but it'll not recreate the ww2 reality point by point... its a shoot with a great ww2 ambience... play it in hard mode... you'll find some missions very interesting, some others very boring ( i hate the one when you're at the rear of the jeep to shoot the planes, wiht no way to hide from the germans shots !)
