Right. Puter has been infected with some kind of fuckin spyware or summin, and I cant get rid of it. Have tried AdAware, SpyBot: S&D and eTrust PestPatrol, none works. Also looked through the Prog.folder, the WINDOWS folder and the System32 folder, nothing there.

The thing it does is this: Playin BF2, game minimizes and advertisments pops up. Surfin the net, same thing. Doin nothing, same thing.

What to do!?

try Microsoft Antispyware, it works pretty well so if it doesn't help your problem then I don't know what to do

Some times the only way to get rid of it is to reformat.

If I could, Id give you +1 000 000 right away, but +1 will do for now. This thing actually seems to work.

LOL...no prob man. I read up on the spyware programs and was suprised many of them like ad aware and spybot only got about 60-70% of the problems

this one grabbed 90%

Glad it worked out and you could save yourself a reformat.

Ya, works like a charm again. I like the "Spyware firewall" feature aswell, saves me lots of grief.

i usually just look at what applications are running, then go and delete its registry file after i stop it. that has a 100% stop rate so far for me, but wouldnt recommend it for an "average" computer user
