Default Superman Returns - 06-28-2006, 01:04 AM

i just got back from the 10 o'clock showing and i loved every mintue of i was in goosebumps during the airplane scene. i felt it wasnt long enough. though the running time was 2h 34m. there was only thing i didnt care for and im not going to say. but overall i enjoyed the film greatly its the best comic movie ive seen it bumped Batman Begins out of the top spot. i hope you guys enjoy as much as i did. kevin spacys rules as lex luthor

Click > Cars

Kevin Spacey is the man. He seems like he'd be an awesome villian.

What way does the story work in the movie? The trailers seem to show him as a kid but in other parts theyre doing some interview asking him where he disappeared to. So is it basically hes reappeared after being mia for a few years?

I heard it takes off after the 2nd Superman movie (So it ignores the 3rd and 4th movies - thank fucking christ)....

...and LOLman, I heard Click was suprisingly good, there is truth to this? I've heard people saying its the best thing Sandler has done since Happy Gilmore.

most definitely. I think sandler is trying to change his acting career from just being a goofball that only does comedy to someone that is a serious actor. I kind of see his transformation like Jim Carey's career from doing Pet Detective stuff and going into the Trueman Show and Bruce Almighty. Click had some funny-ass parts and then there were moments towards the end that gets the audience all teary-eyed.
