I dunno wtf is wrong with hollywood but the past ten or so years has been this:

WW2 era revival.
Vietnam era revival.
Remake everything in fucking sight regardless of how good or bad the original was.

There just really seems to be nothing new anymore. How about a sports movie where the underdog team wins by a point in the last second of the game, never been done before..ooh wait theres probably hundreds of those movies.

people need to just start ignoring hollywoods endless shit... there are still alot of great films made these days, but a large majority of them are far from blockbusters

I guess you guys didn't see the straight-to-DVD sequels to Bachelor Party (Tom Hanks) and Back to School (Rodney Dangerfield).

Well I wouldn't be bothered if they went straight to DVD. I just think some films should be left totally alone but I guess when the big movie executives only see $$$, you can't win

As a result, we get Scary Movie 3 and 4, Epic Movie, Date Movie, Super Hero Movie, and Meet the Spartans.

After his prequel attempts he shouldn't bother.

Then again in most of the recent star wars releases (of the old trilogy) he has been dicking around with some things in the dvd releases.
