Indiana Jones -
05-22-2008, 09:50 PM
Anyone else see it?
Saw it last night... The plan was to see another movie, but missed it and the only movie left was Indiana Jones @ 1201.
Anyways... with all the hype it's been getting, it was a decent flick. Other than this new one, I think I've only seen Raiders of the Lost Ark and that was probably about 10 years ago, so I really can't make too many comparisons to older films. Had more sci-fi elements then I was expecting though. All in all I'd give it a 7.5/10, Ford was pretty good in it even though he's 65. Some good action scenes, and some light humor in there as well. Thought it was worth the ticket price...

i have no idea what reviews you guys are reading but the ones ive seen are all 4/5
i saw it at midnight and i really liked it. it was entertaining. i dont know what everyone is bitching about. just cause it took 19 years to come out doesnt mean it is going to be the best movie of all time.
indy movies ranked from best to not so best

I watched an awesome documentary/interview of Steven Spielberg that had him talking about all of his movies and how they affected him and the world. It was reallllly interesting to hear what he had to say about Saving Private Ryan, the Color Purple, Schindler's List, Artificial Intelligence, Munich, and some other big films.
I plan on seeing this movie just because it's a classic. I trust Spielberg enough that it will be worth my money.

He talked about all the scrutiny that was placed on it and pretty much talked about how awesome his touch made it haha.

Indy is a childhood hero. I found Kingdom to have a few goodies but some parts had me scratching my head. The monkeys helping mutt through the forest had me really puzzled. And the large amount of CGI.
I would give it a 7.5/10. And I'd rate it last in the entire series.

It was pretty good imo...had some good scenes...and harrison is still good ta delivering dialogue
much better than temple anyways...though temple probably had the best little parts compared to this one.
