Crow King's Server - help!

Tried to get into the server, which was running a stock map, last night. It just immediately booted me. I've never been there before, and I'm always a good boy on servers, so I wouldn't think my IP would be banned....any ideas?

It does that sometimes, the autokicker is set for a low ping and for some reason people's pings are higher when loading map.

Try again, I ususally get it with 2-3 attempts

Hmmm. That would be frustrating, since it didn't even give me a chance. I was there about 4 seconds. I'll keep trying.

Crow might need to up the ping limit, or make it so autokicker can't kick you in the first minute of play (so you can load properly)

You gotta remember: Crow is keeping a server for a total of about 16 people, and he's allowing 32 players in it, heh So, he has to keep the autokick low, so certian people won't totally kill the server.

the current ping limit is set at 250, and on a 32 player server, that may be a little high --Although it doesn't bother me, Now we... or shall i Say he is currently collecting donations to up the server to 64 players, this would be a laggy server no matter where you go.

So in conclusion, the ping limit is fine where it is, if anything it should be lowered just a little, but the time it takes for your ping to finally be kicked, IE, if you have 250(+) ping for more than 45 seconds[whatever it is currently set at.] maybe this should be raised alittle for the ones trying to enter the server.

As I also face the same problem sometimes I wouldn't mind seeing the time limit go higher, so that way people can maybe sucessfully load the game. When I load my ping always dramatically reduceses for some odd reason.

Anyway... I forget my point, and considering I don't feel to well I will just let my gibberish stand how it is, pointless and confusing.

Uh....the ping limit is fine in my opinion. If you have trouble getting in, try and try again. You can usually get it by the 3rd or 4th try.

Anyhoo, I do need to adjust the Autokick a bit. It seems to nail ya within about 2 sec of getting into the map, which is a bit disappointing - happens to me all the time.

Folks have started dropping quarters into the PayPal machine, so should be upping player count soon (not yet enough dough for 64, though). This new machine is much more expensive than the last one, but the good news is that the box and connection are even bigger than the last server....should play very well even with 64 folks.
