Many agoraphobia victims became so disabled they literally will not leave their homes. <------really?????????? wow.
well i dont like heights, so acrophobia. I mean if im in a tall building i tend to stay away from the windows. i just cant stand it.
hmm and i dont know what this would be called but i dont like to swim in places where you cant really see the ground. You know like when its like this blackness underwater. errrg dont like that. i mean i can swim just fine but its just this fear of not knowing whats down there.

Well this agrophobia shit hit me a few years ago for no apparrent reason. Im not house bound i just don't really go anywhere that involves any type of distance :/
[quote:5ecbc]Many agoraphobia victims develop the disorder after first suffering a series of panic attacks in public places. The attacks seem to occur randomly and without warning, making it impossible for a person to predict what situation will trigger such a reaction.
The unpredictability of panic attacks, "trains" the victims to anticipate future panic attacks and, therefore, to fear any situation in which an attack may occur.

Thats basically it cry:

LOL biggrin: Good one freak:
My phobias are spiders and getting up in front of like a million people.....stage fright, or just nervousness. Dont really know, I can get up infront of people if need be, I just dont like it. Working at a place like EB is actually making that fear go away. I have to interact with hundreds of people a week, so I really have no problem anymore. Havent really thought about anything else. Not scared of heights, thats one reason I want to be a Paratrooper, not scared of snakes.....yeah, basically, those 2 things are it.

Beautiful women- Caligynephobia. (dare I say more gentlemen ? lol)
Defeat- Kakorrhaphiophobia.
Open high places- Aeroacrophobia.
Ridiculed, being- Catagelophobia
People in general or society- Sociophobia. (yes... 'tis true)
Rectum or rectal diseases- Proctophobia or Rectophobia. (lol !)
Brain disease- Meningitophobia.
Crowded public places- Agoraphobia. (not really a phobia, but I hate crowds)
Darkness- Achluophobia (well, in wide open places I have no control over)
But they can all be grouped into one phobia:
Situations, certain- Topophobia.

i hate that too, there could be anything down there, speaking of water, i hate those pictures of aquatic creatures in pools, i cant swim any where near them, ill stay at the shallow end. I think that started when i took swimming lessons as a kid, i was scared of the big ceramic dolphin at the bottom of the pool.
Also- Coulrophobia which is the fear of clowns, especialy the evil ones, if i see one im like oOo:

Needles... cant fucking stand needles. Blow a guys head off in a movie and have it be "realistic" ok, but go give a guy an IV, nope cant watch it. I can watch black hawk down and see people be blown to bits, rockets get stuck in people, nasty gorey shit. But that man who was shot gets an IV an my skin crawls, and i cover my eyes.
Giving me a shot? Nope, not gonna happen. Hope it comes in a pill cause thats not going in my arm. Worst day in the Army was during hold getting 3 shots. 1 in thebicept that wasnt to bad. 1 in the forearm that hurt like a son-of-a-biotch. Then 1 in the ass, that was un pleasant. Then we had our blood drawn and the chick couldnt get my vein. 3 trys later she gets someone else to do it. WORST DAY EVER! Tweeking out just remembering it.
