Meh...they had it coming. I doubt there are many teams that can give up 50 shots every night and only take 20 and expect to win a 7 game series.

Detroit was just all around better.

Next year.

At least this means the CFL season is that much closer.

I have my theory on what happened with McClennan...

Ok, so Detroit was bumping Kiprusoff a lot. There's no denying that. My theory is that Playfair (who's name is ironic in this instance) put McClennan out there for the sole purpose of hacking the daylights out of any Wing that came even close to the crease. I theorize that this move was to send a message to the Wings that the Flames weren't going to put up with the crease-crashing anymore...and by using McClennan the Flames wouldn't lose a player they'd need.

That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

Buffalo in the east...and devils will knock out the sens in the second round

Detroit better not feel comfoprtable...going from one fo the worst playoff teams ive ever seen in the flames...to one of the best ive seen in the sharks.

everyone on TSN picked detroit. If I wasn't a flames fan, I would have picked detroit, so I don't know what their smoking.

its gonna be a tough series no doubt against the sharks their PP scares the shit out of me, they beat up detroit 3 games to 1 in the regular season but 2 of those games had Osgood and MacDonald in net..lol

if Detroit can stay out of the box i like their chances with 5 on 5 play

Detroit should be in the east....even the leafs wer ein the west only like a decade or so ago well moreso now...and in the playoffs the leafs are almost guarenteed a 7 pm start for all their games unless it the stanley cup finals against a west team...but who know sthey oculd veen accomodate that
