I tried making a custom skin of a modern Canadian soldier, using photoshop, pakscape, and photos of real Canadian soldiers and it didn't turn out all that good, so making custom skins is not as easy as some of you say it is.
I was trying to make the soldier on the right, minus the loaded down back pack, googles and water bottle, I used the D-Day invasion vest model as a base:

http://www.alliedassault.com and go to guides on the left hand navigation bar. that is an awesum tutorial to making skins!

I've tried making my own skin, and determined that I am not good at making custom skins. This skin is one I made, and the reason why I started the topic "Skin Challenge/Request"

By the way, for that skin I used (CEAL) YoChoyLaMuete's Belgian Army model as a base.

yea but, I wanted custom weapons for that skin

I saw what that guy guarnere did, but i still wanted more to the skin.... I wanted 3 stripes and an american flag symbol on the arm, and I also didnt care if anyone wanted add alittle to it.......
