An error occurred while trying to share Network Folder. The Server service is not started.

go to your "control panel" and then lokk for the "network connections" icon, then open that and look for your "local area connection" right click on that and go to properties, then you will be able to see if "file/printer shares" is on or off

Yes it's Chinese for Big $hit.

Yes, file & printer sharing is there with a tick next to it.... but I can't click "properties" on it.

I can only click on "Install" and "Uninstall"

When I click "install" then choose "service" it fails to locate the files required to install the driver

Windows was unable to find any drivers for this device.

If you have a disk that contains the updated driver, or you wish to search in another location, click OK.

So I pull out my winXP pro CD and it can't find any on that either. (view previous post) yes, I have tried many other CD's too.. including win98.

unsuccessful every time

FYI... they are bump posts.

OK so here it goes...................

Little more success.... anyone know this error?

One or more requested network protocols did not connect successfully.

TCP/IP connected successfully.

IPX/SPX or compatible CP reported error 733: A connection to the remote computer could not be completed. You might need to adjust the protocols on this computer. For further assistant click "More Info" or search Help and Support Center.

I have checked the help but am so far totally useless at getting it to work.... I'll keep you posted haha oOo:
