Heh, thanks for the advice, time for a new HD...too bad Western Digital dos not make one below 20 gigs. also how important is compatability of HD with processor and mobo and fans and all that jazz?

Just with the mobo. If the mobo has a ATA-66 connector, there's no need to get an ATA-100 drive, although most today are standard.
You should get a WD drive with 7200RPM, and ATA-100, ATA-133 if your mobo supports it.
I'm saving for Asus's new baby, the P4G8X (droooooooool.. . heh)

yeah the one I'm lookin at is ATA 100 WD Caviar 20 gig , what mobo would go well with that drive?

Good hard drive, I had that one.
Like I said, any ATA-100 board. I trust only Asus, but others like Abit and Tyan too.

Do any of you know of a good motherboard that has 8xAGP and supports a pentium 4, 2 GB or higher? with an intel chipset? er i think thats what it is.
