What's next? Is the US Army going to make tank gunners pay for the ammunition they use up during a war?
More like wear and tear on the treads biggrin:[/quote:fc30c]
Haha biggrin:
Come on, I mean, Canada's military has no money, and I don't think they charge for damage to equipment. Just goes to show that the US Military, while large, is screwed up.
Thanks for joining the reserves. To welcome you back from coving our understaffed asses, heres a bill. We understand that your commander told you to label your items to prevent theft which does occure rampantly in the Army. Though offical Army policy does not allow for this and there by you must pay us for the equipment which we shall be taking back and selling to Army surplus stores anyway. We thank you for your survice to your country in its time of need. Please be sure to pay the attendant on your way out.
What a fucking crock. I'll pay some of those guys bills for em. Shit they did there job and did what they had to do to keep there shit square while they were there. To then be told they have to pay for writing there names on or in items as they were instructed to do by higher ups.
Makes me want to run to the recruiting office right now! Sweet join the Army and then pay them for winning the war they created. Great goddamn policy.
Actually, if you're ACTIVE duty you get $200 to $300 a year for BDU's and other equipment so it's not like it comes out of your pocket. I know because my Father was in the US ARMY for 20 years.
