in my honoest opinion i would LOVE to see powell as president, hes a great man, a great leader during the gulf war. Hes the best man for the job. Though he is black and its the fucking hillbilly's fault that he wont run because some dumbass redneck will shoot him because they are as usual racist. Pisses me off sometimes

Yeah, the ability to screw people over seems to be a prerequsite (I know I spelt that word wrong, I'm a horrible speller) to being a politican in any country.

Look, I am half redneck, and i can safely say I would not mind having Powell as president. Plus I doubt the real rednecks will really be willing to shoot anyone. Gotten pretty lazy lately. They really have gone downhill after the whole civil rights movements. I am sure it would be fine to have him as president.

Trust me... I've lived in the "Deep South" for many years of my life and the Southereners are STILL rascits... they preach about how the "South will rise" and what not. I was scared to say I was from the "North"... haha, I think a friend of mine was dragged to a field and beaten because he was a "Yankee". Heh

Anyways, there is going to be rascits everywhere you go nowadays, but it seems the South is infested with em' !

There is an amazing amount of Neo-Nazi hate groups in Boston.. an amazing amount.

As for Democratic presidential candiates.. I think John Kerry has a good chance at being in the primaries.

Kerry.. well.. he's a bit "too Liberal" for my taste. Besides him there isn't a plethora of truly good canidates. Senator Edwards, perhaps, but knowing his ties to KKK leader Senator Byrd (in fact, Edwards said Byrd was his mentor), doesn't make him very appealing.

Kerry is probalby the best of the group, right now, I of course was hoping Bob Kerrey from Nebr. would run again. I used to work in one of his restaurants and got to sit down and talk to him a few times. Very cool guy.

Please explain how these comments are not prejudical. Kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. I have been all over the country and do not find southerners to be any more or less racist than people from the north, midwest, sw, nw or california. These posts are proof of that.

BTW Miller - Virginia is in the south.
