and it fucks up the forum since the database is fubar. so everytime the forum goes down, blame joe for deleting/editing a post!

Meh, pretty much. That's not the only reason is crashes tho, from deleting/editing posts. PM's do it too.

That's how phpNUKE 6.4 works with SQL servers. If you've been to AAN.NET or mohadmin.com lately, you can see the forums there are slowing down from what they used to be, too. It's just the database. Sopposevly phpNUKE 6.5 is sopposed to have alot of fixes in speed ajustment & interface tweaks.
