Well, we used the bottom two ones, the ones that look like the M16A1 & M16A2. I only fired an M4 Carbine in basic, and only once!

Why would you use a remote with this gun? The remote is way too bulky on your back. When I used mine before I got my minimag before I bought my Cocker and put $1300 into it (man I miss that gun), playing indoors it was friggin so annoying to have the nitrogen tank banging into my back. Now, if you're using CO2 and the tank is small then I guess it wouldn't be too much of a problem but then again, why not just use a couple of 7oz tanks? Store them in your harness or something and switch off.

You know, that's one of the first things I thought for that. It would look too damn fake and probably outweigh the weapon if you used a regular C02 canister. The two things I want to know that I cant find is how much the gun weighs, and how many FPS does it shoot.

Thats why I play with my friends in the backwoods or in PA. They won't let me use a paint grenade!

Nah, I got my own. They're not a brand name, my friend made it for me.
Little steel ball, bout the size of a grapefruit. You get a few paintballs (bout 20 - 25) squeeze the fluid into this filter, and then turn a timer. In about 5 seconds, it sends the contants squirting out of 65 small holes about the size of a penpoint. Pretty nice toy. biggrin:

I thought they were cool when I first saw them, then realized they were junk later, heh

At the moment, I am looking at a Spyder Flash or E-99. I can't really tell what the difference is, any suggestions? Last sumer wa sthe first time I played avidly (every weekend.)
Has anyone seen those paintball tripmines? Was wondering if anyone has used one, or seen one and if they are any good.
F.Y.I: "Skyball" - Proshops bring there equipment, and have sales on the items. Amatuer and pro teams have a large tournament (entry $750ish + $150 for balls). In Toronto, Ont. Can. at the Skydome from February 28 ( Thursday) to March 1 (Sunday)
May want to double check this info on the internet.

It weighs 6.6 pounds stock, and has to be turned down drastically to get below 300 FPS for my field use. Lighter than the old M-16 i used to fire anyday.
The weight is why you would use a remote, and also for the look. A 20oz tank straped to the front of that thing would be heavy as hell and look dumb. As for it slapping me in the back, it wont. My type of field play is slow and low. A rare few games will i even notice my pods which other people say slap alot when they wear them. For my style of play the gun is perfect.
As for the feild not allowing it. I live in Washington, one of those states that likes guns. I also know the guy who runs one of the fields, and if where not there were up in the back woods somewhere. The other field owner would probably say "fuck that looks badass, can i shoot it?"
