That REALLY sucks.

The way the military goes is you don't know certian things until they happen, or until you see it written on paper.

If you sign up for 6 years say, you serve your six, then you sign a paper, boom you're done, right? Nope. You acutally sign up for 8. 6 Active, 2 inactive. These last two years are reserved if there is a war/chrsis on our hands, and we need more troops. You are basically still considered enlisted for those two years, but you don't have to goto drill when required. That's what happened to Totenkopf, sounds like. hake:

HAH! Slavery making the US a world power?? Actually, it was WWII that made us one of the few superpowers today.

I don't see how slavery made us a "superpower" like we are today. Since slavery was abolished in the early 1860's.
