alright, first of all, somebody needs to lock down this thread because it's getting retarded. i might as well have posted a poll: is NASCAR oOo: ? second, michael waltrip won, btw. third (and this is addressed to vance), NASCAR started from bootleggers in virginia and north carolina who had damn fast cars, and fourth, NASCAR is not oOo: . i mean come on, some of the smartest engineers in the world work on those engines (especially the restrictor plate ones) and a lot of crew chiefs, owners, and drivers have degrees in structural engineering or industrial relations. and if it is oOo: why are tens of millions spent on it each year? and why do like ten times as many fans watch it instead of indy racing? F1, COOL, who's in the lead? schumacher, who's in second? some guy who's three laps down. okay, how 'bout IRL? who's in the lead? christiano da matta, who's in second? some canadian who's only half a lap behind. and as for what blitz said, i do have respect for a lot of the drivers in rally racing and le mans who are truly good at road courses. but some people have switched to NASCAR in the past and are doing it now. some of them do well, and some of them suck, even at the road courses! ron fellows does well, while boris said is only okay, and while anthony lazarro sucks. so some of the best drivers in the world are in NASCAR. just ask christian fittipaldi. cool:

Ermmm people all across Europe, Asia, North America, Australia, and South America watch F1. I'd be willing to bet that the number tuned in for each race easily breaks 75,000,000. Not to mention races like Germany's Grand Touring and Britain's TOCA circuit. Touring car racing is way more exiciting. Also there is the Japanese races which are EXTREMELY badass but are just about never televised.

Uh.. dude.. I don't live in Georgia.
I am from Virginia, living in South Carolina. And I hate NASCAR rednecks. If I had my way, I'd kill them all and free the gene pool of their inbred burden.
But that's just me. Fucking rednecks.

Yeah NASCAR is very monotonous, at least in F1 they add curves and shit.

Is this really what you want me to say, or what is expected of me to say
"I guess it is lucky I don't live in America, I enjoy that in canadian I ahve something called freedom of speech"
If thats what you wanted, I hope you're happy
