I gotta agree with the AK47. The high quality ones (not the POS hungarian, romanian, etc.) are very durable, accurate and relatively inexpensive weapons. The m16 is a nice weapon, but smaller caliber and prone to jams. The germans and isrealis make some nice automatic weapons and nice close quarters stuff. But if i had to defend my home from intruders, give me a shotgun everytime.
