LOL! The Russians used bomb laden dogs against German tanks in World War II. They would train the dogs to run underneath the tanks and the timed bomb would explode.

[quote="Gothic_child180":d9891]LMAO zoner...

Maybe I will run for office. First thing I'd do is keep America's nose out of other countries business. Then have every american work to build a bubble around continental US. Then I'd launch us into space so we can't do any more harm to the world.[/quote:d9891]

Ignorance does harm to the world and you seem to be very well versed in this. The majority of the places we have "stuck our noses into" as you so eloquently put it we have done at the invitation of the world forum. Maybe you should stop living in your bubble. Know facts before you prove yourself uninformed. biggrin:

Oh heres something I found that pretty interesting.

[quote:80eec]Tell me something -- is it legal to convict someone of a crime they haven't committed yet?

Let's say hypothetically that you live next door to a guy named "Saddam." You know Saddam owns a gun, and he doesn't like you. In fact, he's a very distasteful person -- really sneaky and shady, and he runs his household with an iron fist. Now, he's never actually threatened you personally with this gun, but remember he *really* doesn't like you. Would it be okay for the police to come and arrest this neighbor if he's never actually broken the law?

Of course not. You can only arrest someone when there is evidence that they've broken the law. International law works the same way -- you can't attack someone who has not attacked you first.

Is it a crime for Saddam to have weapons of mass destruction? Of course it is. But it's not America's job to rid him of them -- it's the UN's. This whole affair is out of our jurisdiction.

They had to stop the practice as the dogs couldn't tell the difference between a German tank and a Soviet one. ed:

There was a funny story about how an entire Russian regiment defending Leningrad had to break ranks and run because the dogs got confused and ran back toward the Russian lines. biggrin:
